THE VICTORY PATIENT GUIDE
Planning a trip? Plan for your medicines, too.
Add a pharmacy conversation to your travel preparations. Use this guide to organize your questions before you leave Burbank.
For international travel, check medicine rules for your destination and any layover countries. A medicine allowed in the United States may be restricted elsewhere.
Plan your supply before departure.
Discuss your itinerary with your prescribing clinician. Ask about time-zone changes, storage and any refrigeration needs. Plan your supply for the trip and possible delays within applicable rules.
Keep medicines and documents together.
CDC recommends carry-on luggage and original, labeled containers. Bring prescription copies with generic names. Ask your prescriber whether a letter is needed for controlled or injectable medicines.
Confirm your refill and pickup plan.
Have your medicine names and departure and return dates ready when you call Victory. Explain your timing so the pharmacy can check prescription status and any next steps.
- Is my prescription eligible to be filled before departure?
- Is a prescriber or health-plan follow-up needed?
- When should I check back about pickup?
